Incremental Update

Incremental Update

  •  In this type of Integration before inserting data into target first we
check data is Existing in target or not, if data is exist then we update
    otherwise we insert that data.

Real time Scenario

  • Consider there a two flat files join these
files and populate the data into the target table , Use Oracle
    incremental update

Steps to Implement that scenario using Incremental update

  •  Create data server for file and target table
  • Create physical schema and logical schema
  •  Create data store for flat file and create a target table at the run time.
  •  Implement mapping, import appropriate knowledge module
• We Already created data server for File and table.
(To see That Please see Article for File to table Mapping)

Step 23:For Emp file defining LKM file to SQL

Step 24:For dept defining LKM file to SQL

Step 25: Click on Target and Select IKM

Step 26: Make sure that you select create target table value true
d1

Step 27: Validating Mapping
d1

Step 28: checking status in Operator
d1

Step 29: Right click on target and select data to view data
d1

Step 30: You can see target data
d1

Step 31:Now suppose we are updating some value and inserting value
d1

Step 32: Again run mapping
d1

Step 33: Checking status in Operator
