Java environment variable setting up

Different ways to set path of java environment variable

You can set path in two ways.

  1. Permanent
  2. Temporary

Steps to set java environment variable path in windows

step 1: Right click on my computer and open Properties

step 3: Now click on environment variable

step 4: Under System Variable Find path
and click on edit and paste your JDK bin path

step 5: copy your java JDK bin path

step 6: paste your JDK bin path

click-ok
Now we successfully set java Environment variable

step 7: Check whether Environment variable path set correctly or not
open cmd and type javac

Temporary path set up for java environment variable

Steps to set path temporary

  1.  Open cmd
  2.  Copy the path of jdk/bin directory
    Exa.
    in My case copied path C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_25\bin
  3. Type command in cmd

set path=C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_25\bin
